Introduction

This is lightened up with 2% milk and cheese This is lightened up with 2% milk and cheese

Ingredients

    6 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced
    2 sm. onions, diced
    salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
    2 cups diced ham (left over from Thanksgiving)
    2 cups shredded cheddar
    4 oz. 2% velveeta
    4 cups of 2% milk (thickened with corn starch on stove top)
    3 T. butter

    1/4 c. cornstarch


Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Spray a large glass cake pan. Place layers of potatoes, onion, cheese and ham with seasonings in baking dish. Ending with a layer of cheese on top. Thicken milk on stove-top with corn starch. Once thickened pour over top of potatoes and top with 3 pats of butter. Cover and bake.
