Introduction

These half pound burgers are more nutritious and with a whole lot less calories. You can use fresh or frozen vegetables and store the patties in the freezer with wax paper in between so you can defrost as use as choose. Ingredients

7 oz pureed carrots (shredded is quicker)
7 oz pureed spinach (frozen chopped)
    7 oz pureed brocolli (frozen)
    1 garlic clove minced
1 teaspoon basil (1 cube trader joes frozen basil)
1.02 lbs Ground Beef (Trader Joes Angus)
    2 egg whites

Directions

Throughly mix all ingredients.

Heat nonstick skillet and cook to desired temperature.

Makes 5 8oz precooked patties.

I recommend serving with cheese and ketchup on top of steamed zuchinni slices instead of bun.
