Ingredients

    2 lb beef stew meat
    1/4 c onion chopped
    1/8 c green pepper chopped
    pepper to taste
    1 beef bullion cube
    1 c carrot chopped
    3 potatoes chopped
    3 c water

Directions

brown meat in pan with onion and green pepper. put in crock with juice. add all other ingredients. cook 4-6 hours on high or until beef is tender.

transfer to stove pot and cook until boiling. mix 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup cornstarch. stir until thickened. add to stew and stir. serve hot.

    Very good! I added 2 oz red cooking wine and thickened meat juices with flour before putting in crockpot. Delicious! - 9/1/08
