Introduction

I made this to avoid going to Starbucks for my pumpkin latte fix! I like to use ground coffee because I like the texture, but you can easily freeze coffee into icecubes for the recipe. Ingredients

    Pumpkin, canned, without salt, .25 cup
    Almond Breeze unsweetened Almond Milk, 1.5 cup
    Designer Whey Protein powder, French Vanilla, 1 serving
    Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Nutmeg, ground, .5 tsp
    Ginger, ground, .25 tsp
    Finely ground coffee, 2 tbs (or frozen coffee icecubes)
    1 cup ice
    1/2 tsp xanthan gum

Tips

Xanthan gum is a thickening agent that can be found at health food stores. It works wonders to make your smoothies thick!


Directions

Add ingredients except ice to the blender, liquids first. Mix the ingredients, and then add ice and blend.

Serving Size: 1 big (really big) serving or 2 regular size servings
