Tips
If you would prefer you can also season the meat with the dry ingredients directly before wrapping in bacon. I just like to make sure that the seasoning is added to the gravy mix as well.Since the gravy is going to run through the roast it can be done either way.
Directions
Take your thawed deer roast and add meat tenderizer. Wrap the roast in bacon slices. Make sure you wrap the bacon is wrapped all the way around the roast. This helps to make the roast more tender when done. Now add all the other ingredients to the crock pot. Go ahead and whisk them together so it is smooth no lumps. Slice the roast in several spots through he bacon is fine just to open it up and let all the juices cook inside it. Don't cut the roast into pieces or all the way through. Just put slits into it to about half way of the thickness of your meat to make holes in it. Add the roast to the crock pot. If the roast is not covered you can add water as needed. Set the crock pot to cook on low for 8 hours. If you would like you can cook it for 10 or more. This roast will be so moist and juicy.
