Ingredients

    3 cups cooked brown rice
    1 pound ground beef or ground venison
    ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
    ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
    1 cup finely diced onion
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 cans (14.5 oz each) petite diced tomatoes
    1 ¾ cups tomato sauce
    2 cups chicken broth
    ½ tsp dried marjoram
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste

Directions

1) Brown ground beef or ground venison with peppers, onions, and garlic.
2) Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, marjoram, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
3) Add cooked brown rice to soup and mix in.

    Very good. I left out the onion for my picky eater and doubled the peppers, Definitely will be making it again! - 4/28/17
