Introduction

Chili with a twist....cinnimon gives it a great flavor, you can also add 1 tbsp. hersey cocoa and the taste is again different.Both of these ingredients are healthy antioxidents and help lower blood sugars. Ingredients

    1 c. tomato sauce
    2 c. Red kidney beans
    14.5 oz. diced tomatoes with green chili
    1 tbsp. cinnimon
    3 tsp. garlic in pure olive oil Stonemill brand
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    1.5 # of ground beef
    2.5 c. of Garden Cocktail

Directions

Brown beef in garlic with olive oil.add onions and celery, saute till onions are sweated....add kidney beans,tomato sauce and the tomatoes and green chili. Stir to combined than add the cinnimon and the garden cocktail. bring to boil.....lower to simmer for 20 minutes. To really rid of the fat drippings I than sit the pot in the cold to bring the remaining fats to the surface, to be hardened and lifted off. Can be served with dollop of of NF oikos greek Yogurt with ground cummin on top.
