Ingredients

    1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
    1 pound ground turkey
2 (15 ounce) cand kidney beans drained
2 (10.75 ounce) cans of low sodium tomato soup
1 (15 ounce) can of low sodium black beans
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    2 tablespoons chili powder
    1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
    1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
    Black Pepper to taste

Tips

I like to cook the turkey with the bell pepper, onion, and garlic because turkey can be slightly bland. I also sprinkle a little pepper and onion powder on the turkey while it is browning.

Directions

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the turkey, bell pepper, onion, and garlic in skillet and cook until turkey is browne. Drain turkey

Coat the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray, and mix turkey, tomato soup, kidney beans, and black beans. Season with your spices.

Cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
