Ingredients

    8 medium thick venison steaks
    1 medium onion (thinnly sliced)
    3-4 tablespoons butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 tbsp worteshire sauce

    thinly slice onion and add it to preheated skillet with butter. place steaks on top of onions. salt and pepper to taste. add three tablespoons worshteshire sauce over steaks. cover and let simmer for twelve minutes(longer depending on thickness of steaks) . when meat is cooked almost through, use wooden spoon to mix onions and pan drippings over steaks.

    Made this last night and it made our venison medallions so incredibly good! I put a mushroom sauce on top (mushrooms saute'd, broth, pinch of flour) and a salad on the side and I couldn't have been happier with a meal! - 12/3/12
