Ingredients

    1 lb stew beef; cut in 1/2" cubes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 carrots, sliced
    3/4 cup barley
    1 bay leaf
    1 teaspoon salt
    6 cups beef stock
    pepper to taste

Directions

Add all ingredients to crockpot. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
