Introduction

Very tasty pasta dish my 11 year old daughter came up with! She chose the ingredients and came up with the recipe name! I just chose the quantity of each ingredient. Ingredients

    6 oz. sirloin steak
    1/3 cup chopped onions
    1/2 cup diced red pepper
    1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
    1/2 cup celery
    1 large tomato, diced
    1 cup fresh spinach
    1/3 cup tomato sauce (low sodium)
    5 cups cooked bow tie pasta
    1 1/2 cup shredded light mozzarella cheddar mix
    2 Tbsp. light grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. sea salt
    Dash pepper

Directions

Slice steak into small cubes and cook in pan with minced garlic over medium-low heat.
Add onion, celery, peppers and mushrooms. Cook until tender and steak is no longer pink.
Add spinach, diced tomato and spices. Cook over low heat.
Meanwhile cook the bow tie pasta according to package directions.
Sir together pasta and veggie/meat mixture and transfer to a casserole dish layering pasta mixture and cheese. Top with remaining cheese and Parmesan cheese and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes until cheese is melted.
Stir to mix cheese with pasta and serve.

Serving Size: Makes 8 1 cup servings.
