Ingredients

    1/4 C soaked cashews (soak four hours prior to preparing)
    1 C unsweetened dairy free milk
    1/4 C lemon juice, or juice from 2 lemons
    1 Tbsp tahini
    Salt and Pepper
    1 Tbsp chia seed
    1 Tsp dried onion powder
    1 Tsp dried garlic powder
    Fresh chives
    Fresh parlsey

Tips

Alter it to your taste, try adding red wine vinegar, a bit of olive or flaxseed oil, different herbs like basil or dill, or add spices like cumin, garam masala, etc.
It's a really simple, delicious, and protein packed base so alter it however you want.


Directions

Combine all ingredients except fresh herbs in a blender or food processor, puree for about a minute, until everything is smooth
Chop the fresh herbs and stir in at the end.
Store in an airtight container for a week in the fridge
