Ingredients
-
5 oz Roasted salted Peanuts
2 Table Spoon Olive Oil
1/4 (12 teaspoon) White Sugar
Tips
You can use different types of oil and sweeteners to change the total calorie count. I just happened to have olive oil and white sugar in my pantry this time.
I prefer to use a bit of syrup or honey to sweeten and less oil. experiment and have fun. It's very simple.
Directions
Place 5 oz of Peanuts into Food processor and mix until it resembles grainy sand. They should be chopped finely.
Add One Table soon of Oil next. Continue to mix the nuts. until they start to stick to the sides.
Stop the food processor and add sugar. Mix the nuts and oil together with a large spoon.
Continue to mix in food processor again at a low speed until it resembles peanut butter.
Makes about a cup of peanut butter. This peanut butter will be a bit chunky and will not contain the same texture as store bought peanut butter; however it does not have all the added processed junk in it.
Serving Size: Makes .15L or aprox 1 cup of Peanut Butter
