Ingredients


    Ingredients:
    Great Value, Chunk Chicken Breast, cooked, 354 grams/ 12.5 oz can
    Hominy, 439 grams/ 15.5 oz can
    *Green Chili Peppers, canned, 1 cup/ 7 oz can
    Whole Milk / Vitamin D, 1 cup
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper (not optional, ha! lol)
    Butter, salted, 1 tbsp
    *Flour, white, .1250 cup/ 2 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tsp (to taste, this is a lot of salt).
    Pepper, black, .25 tsp/ to taste
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp, or so'
    Rubbed Sage, 1/2 tsp, or so'
    Chicken Broth, 32 fl oz, fat free...

Directions

in a deep pot, Melt butter, add flour and stir to mix rue'. Add milk to keep rue thin enough to cook without lumping up. Then, pour in the chicken broth (careful to leave room for the remaining ingredients--i used a pot that was a little small for this, and had to eat a bowl before adding all the broth.. ha!) Next add the can ingredients and spices (easy on the salt...). Last i cut up my onion and minced my jalapeno and threw them. Cook for around 15 minutes. enjoy.
