Ingredients

    1/2 cup dry quinoa
    1 cup water
    1 gala apple, peeled and chopped
    2 miniature boxes raisins
    2 Tbsp chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp cinnamon sugar (1/2 white sugar, 1/2 ground cinnamon)

Tips

You may need to add extra sweetness by adding additional cinnamon sugar, maple syrup or honey - but these are not included in the calorie count.


Directions

mix quinoa and water and bring to a boil.
add chopped apple and raisins.
reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, add pecans and cinnamon sugar, stir and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
serve and enjoy!

Serving Size: makes 2 servings of 3/4 cup
