Ingredients


    Butter, salted, .25 cup
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    *Onion powder, .75 tsp
    *Flour, white, 1.25 cup
    Cornstarch, .25 cup
    Beef broth, 1 can (14 oz), ready-to-serve
    Vegetable Broth, 3.5 cup
    Half and Half Cream, 1 cup

Tips

No need to add salt!
I make my own broths, but used canned nutritional info for convenience.
Great served over a bed of rice with a few pieces of leftover grilled chicken & steamed green veggies!


Directions

Melt butter. Sautee mushrooms and onion powder until mushrooms are tender. Mix flour and vegetable broth. Add to mushrooms in pan. Mix cornstarch and beef broth, and add to pan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly, then reduce heat to simmer and add half and half cream. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
