Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    one package of chicken breasts (3 breasts)
    half an onion diced fine
    3T butter divided
    1/2 c olive oil
    1/2 c flour
    4 cups chicken broth
    frozen veggies - 6 cups
    2 tubes of crescent rolls (8 rolls each)

Tips

we used the convection setting on the oven to brown them evenly.


Directions

Brown chicken in skillet, and remove to bowl. Add onion and 1T butter and cook onion on medium till soft. Add rest of butter and olive oil, and flour, and mix well, cook till warm but not brown. Add broth and stir well until bubbly and thick. Add veggies. Add chicken back in, and pour into 9x13 pan or several smaller dishes. Cover with crescent rolls. Wash with a beaten egg if desired. Bake 375 degrees 12-30 minutes until rolls are cooked.
