Ingredients

4 cups apples, thinly sliced (approx 3 - 2-3" apples)
4 cups blackberries, fresh or thawed if from frozen
    1/3 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 cup all-purpose wheat flour
    1 tsp cinnamon, ground
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    2 cup Fiber-one honey squares
2 tbsp (or 1/8 cup) brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp buttery blend (butter/olive oil combo)
Watkins cooking spray (or butter flavored spray of your choice)

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 375°F.

Place apples in large bowl, sprinkle with lemon juice and mix to coat the apples. Add the berries to the apples.

In small bowl combine together the sugar, cinnamon and flour. Add to apple slices and berries; stir until coated. Spread into lightly sprayed 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish. Bake uncovered 25 minutes.

While fruit is cooking:
- gently melt the buttery blend on low heat
- slightly crush the cereal (can use plastic bag and rolling pin, food processor, or -- my favorite since it burns a few calories -- place the measured cereal in a bowl and use a heavy glass or metal measuring cup to 'squish' the cereal.)

In medium bowl (can use the same bowl the fruit was in), mix together the cereal and brown sugar, then while stirring, slowly dribble the buttery blend over the cereal and sugar so that it is evenly coated.

When fruit has cooked 25 min, stir well; then sprinkle cereal mixture evenly over top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until topping is golden brown, apples are soft, and juices are bubbly.

Let stand at least 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Delicious either hot or cold. (optional: serve with ice cream)
