Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

2 drained cans of tuna, canned in oil (approx. 200 grams after draining)
    300 grams mashed potatoes
    1 large carrot shredded
    1 medium onion chopped
    1 large raw egg
    1/3 cup olive oil
    50 ml red wine
1 cup plain, dry bread crumbs
    1 tbsp chopped parsley
    1 tbsp ground oregano
Salt and pepper according to taste

Tips

You can use tuna canned in water to avoid extra calories from oil. But you have to make sure that it's very well-drained. Also, you have to be careful of the salt quantity because generally, tuna canned in water contains much more salt than the one in oil.

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and knead gently until they're all combined together.
Make medium patties and put them in a pan covered with baking sheet.
Put it in preheated oven at 160 C/ 320 F. Bake them until slightly brown (approximately 40 min.)
Alternatively, you can grill them.
Serve with potato salad or any freshly-cut vegetable salad of your taste.
