Easy and yummy pizza dough Easy and yummy pizza dough

    1 1/2 C. warm water
    1 tbsp. active dry yeast (I use Fleischmann's in the jar)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    3 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. sugar


Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water and let sit until it begins to foam. Add half of the flour and mix well. Add the oil, salt and rest of flour. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let sit at least 10 minutes in a warm place to rise a little. Roll out and put on pizza pan. Bake at 400* until golden brown and yummy! Makes enough dough for two 12 inch pizzas.

  • okay so im cooking the pizza now it seems like the dough turned out okay i had to add a lil more flour i don't know if maybe b/c i put to much yeast im not sure but this is my first time so i have more practice - 10/10/08
