Ingredients
-
24 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 12 tenders (or chicken tenders)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. McCormick BBQ seasoning
12 slices of reduced fat bacon
1/2 C barbeque sauce
3 Tbsp. honey
Tips
Serve with a wedge salad topped with tomato, scallions, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Drizzle with a light bbq ranch dressing (just mix some bbq seasoning in light ranch dressing). This is not included in the nutritional information.
Directions
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and McCormick BBQ seasoning
2. Brown chicken over medium heat in a skillet with cooking spray. About 6 minutes per side.
3. While chicken is browning, lightly cook bacon in microwave, so it is still pliable, but will be crisp later.
4. Brush both sides of chicken tenders with barbeque sauce.
5. Wrap each tender with a slice of bacon.
6. Return chicken back to skillet until both the bacon and chicken are cooked through. About 5-7 minutes.
7. Brush tops of chicken with honey. Flip and cook for 3 more minutes, until honey has caramelized.
