Ingredients

    Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix (if use other than above, will need to edit recipe as nutrition values change)
    2 pkg (4 serving size) jell-o Instant Pudding & Pie Filling - any kind
    1 stick butter, softened
    3 eggs
    2 cups cold milk
    1 1/4 C. water
    1/3 C granulated sugar

Directions

Preheat over to 350.
Prepare cake mix as directed on pkg. Poor batter into greased 13x9 pan
Pour milk & water in large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes & granulated sugar. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. Pour over cake batter in pan. Place pan on baking sheet to catch drippings, as mixture does bubble. Back 55 min to 1 hr or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 20 min. (Mixture will thicken slightly as it cools.) Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 16 servings, 1/2 C. each.

    My version is in the oven right now. I used a spice cake mix with vanilla pudding. I omitted the additional sugar as well as the extra 1/4 cup water for the pudding. It smells wonderful...fingers crossed - 6/3/08

    Incredible!
    I use a variety of different cakes and use unsweetened instant pudding and leave out the oil with the cake. You have to use only 1 cup of water with the pudding for best results. - 4/9/08
