Introduction

I wanted a granola without tree nuts, so I made this. I wanted a granola without tree nuts, so I made this.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups old fashioned oatmeal
    1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds (hulled)
    1 Tbs sesame seeds
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1/3 cup pancake syrup
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 cup water
    1/4 cup oil
    1/2 cup raisins

Tips

You can also add chocolate chips when you remove it from the oven. change up the fruit and nuts to what you like.


Directions

mix all dry ingredients except raisins, add sugar, syrup, vanilla, water and oil. mix well. spread onto baking sheet, bake at 250 until golden and crunchy. Stir every 10 minutes for even cooking. add raisins for the last 10 minutes.

Serving Size: should make approx. 8 1/2 cup servings
