Ingredients

    Beef, shortribs, 3.46 lb., (About 10 boneless short ribs)
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1 lb., whole
    Chicken Bouillon, 3 tsp (3 cubes)
    Hot water, 1 cup
    White onion, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Minced garlic, 2 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1 tbsp
    Rosemary, dried, 1 tbsp
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Gravy (optional)
    Flour

Tips

I made a gravy out of some of the juices to serve over the meats. I also served this dish with oven roasted carrots and zucchini (sliced into healthy wedges, and roasted on bottom shelf at 425F).


Directions

Wipe off the tops of the mushrooms and place in the bottom of the slow-cooker with onions. Grind fresh salt and pepper over the veggies. Mix the bouillon in water until dissolved and stir in garlic. Place ribs on top of veggies and pour bouillon mixture over meat. Sprinkle thyme and rosemary liberally over meat. Cover win lid and set to LOW for 8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 2 ribs per person
