Introduction

If you love V8, this is a great recipe without all the preservatives! Add a cup or two of ice and it's a great drink. Or just blend and heat and it can make a great soup as well! Add pinto beans for some extra protein or spinache for iron. This is a great basic recipe to play around with. My all time favorite! Ingredients

    Fresh kale, plum tomatoes, celery, cucumbers, carrotts, red bell pepers, green onions, and garlic!

Tips

This recipe is best if you have a good blender like a Vitamix. It makes for a very smooth drink.


Directions

Put all the items in blender: tomatoes, kale, cucumbers, celery, carrott, peppers, onion, and garlic. Add water and ice (optional) and blend until smooth! Or forgo the ice and after ingredients are blended heat and eat as a soup!

Serving Size: This is a large recipe making 5 - 8oz cups and can easily be cut in half.
