Ingredients

    16 oz. can garbanzo beans, drained and save bean juice to use if needed
    1 T. Olive oil
    1 Med. red pepper, cut into 1/2 in. pieces
    1 T. Tahini
    1 fresh lime, juiced
    1/2 t. salt
    1/4 t. pepper
    1/4 t. fresh garlic
    1/4 t. hot sauce (or to taste)

Tips

I use as a sandwich spread.


Directions

In a food processor or belender, mix beans, oil, red pepper, tahini, lime juice, salt, pepper, and garlic and blend till smooth (add bean juice if needed)

Serving Size: 1 Tablespoon
