Ingredients

    I cup softened butter (salted)*
    3 cups confectioners sugar
    1/4 cup orange juice
    2 tsp orange zest

    * If using unsalted butter add a pinch of salt.

Tips

This was Cybele Pascal's recipe but I changed it by using butter instead of dairy-free, soy-free vegetable shortening and salted butter.


Directions

Cream the soft butter with a mixer about 2 minutes
Add the confectioners' sugar in 3 batches, mix after each addition
Add orange juice, orange zest (and salt*)
Beat on medium speed about 5 minutes, until light and fluffy.
