Ingredients

1 cup almonds, raw, soaked 6 hours & drained
1 cup pecans, raw, soaked for 6 hours & drained
1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
6-8 dates, pitted, soaked 20 minutes,
reserve some water
1/2 cup raisins
2 apples, cored & chopped with skin
1 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut
3/4 to 1 cup chocolate chips or carob, optional
1-2 tsps. vanilla powder or extract, optional
2 tbsp. cinnamon powder
1/2 tsps. sea salt
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup reserved date water
Tips
Can add other fruits or nuts, like dried goji berries, dried cherries, dried cranberries, cashews, walnuts, etc.
Dry it to desired texture, break up and store in sealed container for several weeks. Will last several months in fridge.
Directions
Soak almonds, pecans in clean water for 6 hours.
Pit & soak dates for 20 minutes, reserve water
Core and chop 2 granny smith apples
Take almonds, pecans, and dates, process to small chunks in food processor with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of reserved date water.
Mix all ingredients and spread on teflex sheet in dehydrator at 115 degrees for 12 to 24 hours. At 6 hours turn and break up mixture to dry further. Dry to desired crunchiness. When done add chocolate chips if desired. Eat alone as snack or with almond milk as cereal
