Ingredients

    Green Split Peas (Lentils), 1 cup (remove)
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)
    Mustard seed, yellow, 1 tsp (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Hunt's Dice Tomatoes, 1 cup (remove)
    Ginger Root, 3 tsp (remove)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper (remove)
    *Hot Chili Peppers, 6 pepper (remove)
    *Tumeric, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    *Sambar Powder (spicy curry powder), 1 serving (remove)
    Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
    Cilantro, raw, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Kale, 2 cup, chopped (remove)
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Directions

- Boil spilt peas with water in a pressure cooker
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds
- Once seeds pop, add onions, jalapeņo, chili peppers,&
diced tomatoes
- Add tumeric powder, sambar powder & salt
- Mix all of it with the boiled split peas
- Add kale and cilantro
-Taste. Add extra salt if needed. Serve
