Introduction

This slow-cooked chicken is easy, delicious and versatile. Leftovers are great for a fetticcini alfredo or salad the next day. This slow-cooked chicken is easy, delicious and versatile. Leftovers are great for a fetticcini alfredo or salad the next day.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8 cloves garlic, sliced
    1 Tbsp dried rosemary, crumbled between your fingers
    1/2 tsp kosher salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    3 Tbsp white wine
    2 Tbsp water
    2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts
    cooking spray

Directions

Spray slow cooker with the cooking spray. Mix all ingredients except the chicken in the slow cooker. Mix well. Add the chicken one piece at a time, making sure to turn each piece to cover. Cook on low for eight hours or high for four hours. Makes approximately 8 servings of 4 oz each.

This goes great with rice or couscous and your favorite steamed vegetables. Leftovers are great for a pasta dish or salad the next day.

    Excellent. We served it this way to the kids. My husband and I shredded the chicken and then poured the juices over it for a stronger flavor. Fantastic! - 1/4/09

    Good stuff. Chicken was falling apart tender. We also added some red potatoes and asparagus to it as well. Great dinner! - 10/14/10

    This was really juicy and tasty. I added minced onion, garlic powder and I didn't have white wine so I just used water....still very delicious! Thanks for posting! - 12/12/10
