Ingredients

1 C flour
3/4 C ground oatmeal
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/3 C unsweetened applesauce
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 C solid canned pumpkin
1/2 milk
Tips
Optional glaze: 1/4 c melted butter, 1/2 c powdered sugar, 1 tables cinnamon combined. Dip top of donut in glaze. Let set.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease donut pan and set aside.
Whisk flour, oatmeal, baking powder, salt and spices together. Set aside.
In separate bowl whisk together wet ingredients. Add to flour mixture, stir until just combined, taking care not to over mix.
Carefully spoon evenly around circles of donut rings. Fill each nearly to top. Bake 12-15 minutes, until donut springs back when gentle pressed. Turn donuts onto wire rack to cool.
