Introduction
I love making chilli, throwing everything in a crock pot and inviting the family over. I call this five alarm chili, but you can adjust the heat. Ingredients

MEAT: ground beef, ground turkey, beef stew meat, pork stew meat. A combination of two pounds meat.
Veggies: tomato products ( canned diced, tomato sauce, paste, salsa) plus diced onion, shredded carrots, diced bell pepper, diced chili if you want heat.
Beans: dried pinto,and kidney
Liquid- 1 can beer
Secret : corn meal
Tips
serve with chopped fresh onion, tortilla chips, sour cream, shredded cheese as optional toppings.
Directions
1) clean and soak dried beans in water overnight.
2) diced all veggies, except tomato products.
3) brown meat in large skillet, add crushed garlic
4) add chopped veggies to skillet, brown until soft
5) add spices to skillet, heat through
6) combine skillet , drained beans, tomato products in large slow cooker. Add beer, stir and combine ingredients.
7) cook for 5 hours
8) add cornmeal about 10 minutes before serving.
Serving Size: makes a crowd of one cup servings.
