Ingredients

    Ground Beef 90% lean
    Brown Long Grain Rice previously cooked (not instant)
    1 Hunt's 100 % Natural Tomato Sauce 8 ounce can

    Garlic Powder sprinkled to taste

Tips

A sauteed onion and or green peppers can enhance this dish, and help you get your veggie amount in for the day. I just choose something simple and what I had on hand. Beans, almost any kind can be added for extra Folate and other veggies. Easy and satisfying dish that takes minutes to prep, cook and serve.


Directions

Brown the 90% ground beef in a small amount of cooking oil spray until browned and all red is gone from the meat. sprinkle the garlic powder on. Add one 8 ounce can of Hunts 100% Natural Tomato Sauce, then the cooked long grain brown rice. Heat until eating temperature.

Serving Size: makes two 3/4 cups servings
