Ingredients

    * Celery, 2 stalks chopped
    * Carrots, 4 small chopped
    * Split Peas, 2 cups
    * Onions, 0.25 cup, chopped
    * Water 4 cups
    *Salt and Pepper to taste
    *1/2 tsp Cumin powder
    *1 Tbsp Garlic

Directions

Throw it all in a pot and let it cook till it's done. About 30 minutes or so.

Recipe calculation is set at 6 servings. Not really sure if that's how many there are. Depends upon how much evaporation, etc occurs.

    This is awesome! I'm from the south, and I've never tried split pea soup without ham in it. But my brother (who thinks all healthy stuff is gross) loved this soup. I will definitely be making this again. ***note*** I added some extra onion powder and garlic powder for more flavor. - 7/2/09

    Incredible!
    I made it in the rice cooker and added 2 tbsp of dry chicken stock powder. Water evaporated, had it as a tasty main course. - 11/26/13
