Introduction

Healthy- fibrous dessert, snack, or side dish- packed with vitamins and good for children and diabetics- good source of potassium. Healthy- fibrous dessert, snack, or side dish- packed with vitamins and good for children and diabetics- good source of potassium.

Ingredients

    1 large pear
    2-4 T Oatmeal
    1-2 T Sugar-free Maple Syrup
    1/8 C finely chopped walnuts
    1/3 tsp of cinnamon


Directions

Put all ingredients into a small saucepan. Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring in make sure it doesn't stick and the flavors blend. Couldn't be easier!

*NOTE: Could add an artificial sweetner to taste. The walnuts make up the bulk of the calories but an ounce is good for you.

Yields approx 1 C= 1 serving.
