Ingredients

    2 Pkgs of yeast (2 ½ tsp)
    ½ cup warm water
    1 ½ cup boiling water
    1 cup quick cooking rolled oats ( Probably can use regular rolled oats)
    ½ cup molasses
    1/3 cup shortening
    1 Tble salt
    6 1/7 cup bread flour ( try using 2-3 cups of King Arthur unbleached whole Wheat flour)
    2 beaten eggs


Directions

Mix 1/2 cup warm water with the yeast. Mix 1/1/2 cups of boiling water with shortening, salt, molasses in Stand Mixer bowl. Beat. Cool to room temp. Add eggs and 2 cups of bread flour and beat. Add yeast and mix.Add 2 cups of bread flour. Beat. Add 2 cups of either whole wheat or bread flour, charge to dough paddles and mix for 10 min. Turn out into a oiled bowl, turn and cover and place in refrigerator for 2 or more hours. Divide dough into 2 sections and place in well greased bread pans. Cover and place in warm place until doubled about 2 hours. Bake at 375 for 35 min.spread melted butter over top when warm
