Tips
I got this recipe off of getcrocked.com if you would like to see the original. It is slightly different, but this is where I found the general recipe and just changed it slightly.
Directions
Poor soy sauce and beef broth over beef in crock pot, cover and cook for 3-4 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low. Steam broccoli in the microwave, following instructions on the package, or you can use fresh and just add 1/4 of a cup of water and cook for 4-5 minutes. Drain broccoli after it reaches desired tenderness. Combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of liquid from the crock pot in a separate bowl and stir until smooth. Stir mixture slowly into beef and juice in crock pot. Fold in broccoli, and cook uncovered on high for another 15 minutes. Steam rice separately, following directions on the package. I like to use the fit and active brand from Aldi, but I think any brown rice will do. Serve beef and broccoli over rice. Garnish with sesame seeds if you like! YUM!
