Ingredients

    2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
    4 tsp Baking Powder
    .5 tsp Sea Salt
    1/4 Cup Cold Butter cut into "pea sized" cubes
    1 Cup Cold Skim Milk

Tips

Do not over work the dough, it will be slightly sticky, "the stickier the dough the more moist the roll". Depending on the size cutter used these will change the servings nutrition try for 10 biscuits


Directions

Preheat oven to 450*
Mix Flour, Baking Powder and Sea Salt in a medium sized mixing bowl, add the pea sized butter cubes using a pastry tool "cut" into the flour mix until butter is well incorporated. Add milk all at once mix with a spoon and then knead by hand about 6 or 8 times. using a sprinkle of flour pat in to a 3/4" thick dough shape and use a glass to form the biscuits.
Cook in a hot oven on parchment paper or Silpat.
10-12 minutes can turn over half way through cooking time. Should be lightly brown, these are firm and mildly heavy due to the wheat flour but not ever dry.
