Introduction

I just put this recipe in so I can log it into my food tracker. I just put this recipe in so I can log it into my food tracker.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    * 1 lb of Ground Turkey ( I used 93% lean)
    * 2 cups of your choice of Pasta [I use Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne (w/ Fiber)]
    * 1 Med. Jar of Spaghetti Sauce ~ about 3c ~ of your choice (I use whatever I have in the house)
    * 1 Garlic Clove (Minced)
    * 4 Tbsp Basil leaves (finely chopped)

Tips

* We also add fresh grated parmesan cheese (not in calculated info listed)
* you can also put aside some of the pasta water to add while warming up. Will thin out sauce though, so know that. :-)


Directions

* Cook your Ground turkey in a fry pan. Drain grease.
* At the same time, cook pasta in water... about 8 minutes in boiling water.
* Put cooked pasta (drained) and ground turkey in one pan. Add Spaghetti sauce in pan& also minced Garlic. * * Warm it all up till everything is warm.
* Add chopped Basil
* Enjoy
