Ingredients

    4 pears, halved and cored
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
    1 tablespoon room temperature unsalted butter

Tips

If you don't like blue cheese, try feta or any other crumbled soft cheese. Toss in a few chopped walnuts for a satisfying crunch.


Directions

1. Pre-heat the grill to medium heat
2. Brush both halves of the pears with olive oil and place them skin-side down on the grill
3. In a small bowl, stir together the blue cheese and butter
4. Scoop an even amount of the cheese and butter mixture into the center of each pear half
5. Grill pears until soft and charred, about 10-15 minutes

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings
