Introduction

An easy green smoothie sweetened with delicious berries and banana. An easy green smoothie sweetened with delicious berries and banana.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 medium banana
1 cup sliced fresh or frozen strawberries and blueberries
    1 cup spinach, washed
1 cup of almond or coconut milk, or use 1 cup of yogurt
    A few ice cubes

Tips

Sometimes I substitute kale or other leafy greens for the spinach depending on what I have. The flavor generally doesn't change unless you use mustard greens which are quite spicy!

If you use all frozen fruit for this smoothie, you can omit the ice cubes. Feel free to substitute in other kinds of berries. I find this mix of veg/fruit to have the best flavor.

Directions

Add to blender:
1 medium banana
1 cup sliced fresh or frozen strawberries and blueberries
1 cup spinach, washed
1 cup of almond or coconut milk, or use 1 cup of yogurt
A few ice cubes

Blend until smooth.
