Ingredients

    Tuna, Canned in Water, drained, 2 cans
    1/4 med yellow onion, diced
    Garlic, 3 cloves, diced
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    Dill weed, dried, 1 tsp
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, chopped
    Jalapeno pepper raw (1 pepper). diced, seeds removed
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1 small, chopped
    Egg whites, 1/3 cup
    italian bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
    1/8 Med. Green Bell Pepper,diced
    Pam Original Canola Cooking Spray, 5 sprays

Tips

If serving kids, don't disclose ingredients until AFTER they finish! Can make it like a traditional burger with tomato slices, lettuce and cheese (remember to add calories.) To sweeten the burger, you can use Swirl Raisin and cinnamon bread.


Directions

Mix all diced veggies with tuna. Add egg whites, and slowly mix in bread crumbs while stirring. Add seasonings and mix. Form five burgers/patties. Spray 5 sprays of Canola oil spray into frying pan. Heat up frying pan for about 1 minute, then put in burgers/patties. Cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until brown. Flip to the other side and cook another 4-5 minutes or until brown. Take out and serve on a bun with 1 tblspn of mayo or on a bed of romaine lettuce (not included in calorie count.)
