Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Turkey
    1 cup Onion

    1 can Diced Tomatoes
    15 oz Tomato Sauce
    2 cups Green Pepper
    1 cup Brown Rice
    2 tbsp Beef Bouillon
    1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
    1/2 tsp Dried Basil
    3 cups water

Tips

I used 2 tbsp Dried Oregano and Basil Flakes it wasn't overpowering at all. Ground Basil and oregano would be.

6-8 hours until rice is at desired texture not however long suites you.

I halved the recipe and it was overcooked and stew/casserole like at 6 hours on low in a 1 1/2 quart crockpot. Rice became a thickener hard to find it in there. It also only made 4 cups (8 full recipe).


Directions

Brown Turkey and onion transfer to crock pot and add the rest of the ingredients.

Cook in Crockpot on low 6-8 hours

Serving Size: makes 12 cups
