Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can diced tomatoes
1 package frozen chopped onions
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 jar carrot baby food (no additives)
1/2 package frozen petite peas (no sauce)
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Garlic powder (not garlic salt)
Directions
Heat olive oil in heavy-bottomed skillet. Add onions and garlic and sautee until golden.
Add the two cans of tomatoes (undrained) and the jar of carrot baby food. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.
Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the frozen peas, simmer until peas are warmed through.
Serve with whole wheat pasta.
Makes 6 servings.
