Introduction

This was an experiment I tried when I was wanting to do something different with my pork chops. This was an experiment I tried when I was wanting to do something different with my pork chops.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8 Boneless pork chops
    6 TBS butter
    3 ounce bag plain pork skins
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder
    2 eggs
    4 TBS ranch dressing

Tips

You may also add finely shredded cheese to the pork skin mixture. You could also use chicken with this recipe.


Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Place butter in baking dish and put in oven to melt. Mix egg, ranch dressing. Crush pork skins (I did this in the food processor). Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Dip pork chop in egg mixture, then in pork skins and place in baking pan. Bake for 30-40 min depending on thickness of pork chops and desired crispness. Remove from pan and place on paper towel to cool.
