Ingredients

    1 cup flaxseed meal
    1/3 cup salted butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup white enriched flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 cup milk
    16 almonds chopped
    1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Mix the flaxseed, butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Then add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the milk to the consistency of cookies. Then add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Drop tablespoon size balls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Makes 28 cookies.

    Incredible!
    These cookies are great! I used unsalted butter and left out the nuts, but other than that I followed the recipe. They were a little gooey to handle, but they baked wonderfully. I will definitely make them again! - 3/11/10

    Very Good
    I made a similar recipe today but used applesauce in place of butter and ground oats in place of the white flour. Also omitted the nuts and cinnamon. Very good! - 10/9/08
