Introduction

Knock off of Cheddar Bay Biscuits Knock off of Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 stick cold butter
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup cold milk

    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)
    1 tsp dried parsley

Directions

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and garlic powder. Cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter. Mix in cheese and milk withe a fork, until just combined. Do not overmix. Scoop with a small ice cream scoop or tablespoon onto a baking sheet covered in parchment. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes. While baking, melt butter in microwave. Stir in garlic powder and parsley. Using a pastry brush, brush garlic butter onto biscuits immediately after removing from oven. Best if served while still warm.
