Introduction

Basic green smoothie, keeps my blood sugar in check all morning. Basic green smoothie, keeps my blood sugar in check all morning.

Ingredients

    2 cups chopped Kale
    1 TBSP ground flax seed meal
    1 TBSP chia seed meal
    Lemondade
    1 cup frozen mixed fruit
    ice cubes

Tips

Sometimes i'll add coconut greek yogurt, or use almond milk in place of the lemonade. It's easy to customize.


Directions

Place lemonade and kale in blender ( I use nutri ninja professional), and blend well, about 1 minute. Then add flax/chia seed meal, frozen fruit and 3 ice cubes, blend well and enjoy.

Serving Size: Makes approximately 16-24 ounces
