Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

0.25 cup White Rice, short grain
0.10 Chicken breast or other Fillings
1 piece of Nori (dried seaweed)
Soy Sauce or other flavorings to taste

    Seran Wrap

Directions

Makes enough for one onigiri.

Cook the rice in a rice steamer after rinsing it off first.
While waiting, cook the chicken or other filling, using the soy sauce or other herbs to flavor. I tend to add garlic salt.
Put the rice in the seran wrap and cover it completely.
Start to roll or shape the ball of rice in your hands while it is covered. Do not press too hard or too lightly. Just a firm amount of pressure.
Press a hole deep into the middle of your shape of rice, add the cooked chicken to the middle of the shape. Recover with seran wrap.
Continue shaping the rice until the filling is covered with the rice.
Take it out from the seran wrap and place the nori over it on a strip.
