Introduction

These popovers are a great side item to go with a roast or beef stew. These popovers are a great side item to go with a roast or beef stew.

Ingredients

    6 tbsp butter, salted
    6 large eggs
    1 cup milk, nonfat
    1 cup (8 fl oz) water
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 cups all purpose flour

Tips

Use real butter to grease the muffin tins or else they will stick to the pan.


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Grease LARGE muffin tins well
3. In medium bowl, beat eggs until frothy
4. Melt butter in a small bowl
5. Transfer beaten eggs to large mixing bowl. Add milk, water, salt, and melted butter.
6. Mix using a handheld power mixer. Gradually add in flour and continue to mix until mixed thoroughly.
7. Fill greased muffin tins 1/3 full with mixture
8. Bake on the middle rack for 45 minutes
